Amaç: Polikistik over sendromu (PKOS) olanların dünya çapında yaşamlarını iyileştirmek için tanı, değerlendirme ve tedavi için titiz, kapsamlı kanıta dayalı kılavuzlar geliştirmek ve uygulamak.

Katılımcılar: Kapsamlı sağlık profesyoneli ve kullanıcı veya hasta katılımı kılavuzun öncelikli alanlarını oluşturdu. Uluslararası toplum tarafından aday gösterilen paneller arasında kullanıcılar ve pediatri,endokrinoloji, jinekoloji, birincil bakım, üreme endokrinolojisi, psikoloji, diyetetik, egzersiz fizyolojisi, uyku, bariatrik/metabolik cerrahi, halk sağlığı, diğer seçilmiş uzmanlar, proje yönetimi,kanıt sentezi ve çevirisi uzmanları yer aldı.
